This specification defines the electrical and mechanical characteristics and requirements for a continuous-duty, single-phase, maintenance bypass / power output distribution system. This system, hereafter referred to as the POD, provides high-quality maintenance by pass capability for all micro UPS products up to and including 3kVA.

The POD is designed in accordance with the applicable sections of the current revision of the following standards. Where a conflict arises between these standards and statements made herein, the statements in this specification shall govern. The POD is stand alone UL listed. The POD units can be used with any manufactures UPS that meets the UL standards listed below.
